Every week, thousands of hours vanish from UK school leadership teams. Not spent teaching, coaching or improving outcomes, but scrambling to write up meeting notes, wade through the admin that follows, or collate evidence for the SEF and the next inspection.

Neurameet was created by Rich Taylor, a senior leader in a Southampton secondary school who spent years trying to balance being present in meetings with the pressure to capture every detail and decision. After completing an MSc in Applied AI and Data Science, he set out to build the tool he wished already existed.

Rich brought the domain knowledge: genuine, current, senior-leader understanding of what schools need, what Ofsted expects, and where the real friction lives. To build something worthy of that understanding, he needed a technical team who wouldn’t cut corners.

His co-founders bring deep expertise in software development and cyber security, built across startups, scale-ups, defence and large consultancy environments, disciplines that aren’t optional when you’re handling sensitive school data. Together, the team built Neurameet to a standard that schools, trusts and data protection officers can actually trust: secure by design, compliant by default, and robust enough to disappear into the background of a busy school week.

Neurameet has what most EdTech platforms don’t: a founding team that understands the classroom, the codebase and the compliance framework, all at once. That’s why we’re building something schools can trust with the way they work, not another tool bolted onto the systems they already tolerate.
